Literature Text

With my eyepatch on and my wooden leg,
With my cutlass in hand and parrot called Meg,
With an 'Avast, ye lubbers.'
And a 'Shiver me timbers.'
And a load of dancin' on me deck

'Cause I be a pirate on the seven seas
With a hundred men but half as many knees,
And we'll steal yer women and we'll steal yer gold,
And we'll keep 'em with the rum and the weevils in the hold,
And then we'll go a-dancin' on me deck

Yarr, I got one  hand and this 'ere hook,
It'll cost ye a doubloon if ye wanna take a look,
Now I din't a lose it fightin' like your meant,
No, I lost it one day in an accident,
'Cause I tripped while dancin' on me deck

(shout Yarr and Avast to fade...)
Made up to amuse my son on a car journey some time ago.

Beast's 'Long John Silver' comment reminded me of it so I thought I'd post it.

That is all, please go about your business.
