Don't You Just Love the Sun?

So... I argued with myself about whether to put this up or not. The reason being that whilst I painted this picture it is an almost exact copy of this painting by another DA member: [link] and just to cap things off I also stole the title of the painting from the song from which the title of the original is taken. Is there no end to this man's depravity? No depths to which he will not stoop? Hmmm, no, probably not.

So why? Well I loved the original more than my capacity to express with words and, as I'm not in any sort of position to offer to buy it for anything like what I'd say it was worth, I thought I'd take a stab at trying to paint it myself. Now clearly my version is inferior to the original (I'm pretty crap at painting) but it didn't turn out too awful. There are a couple of mistakes and a couple of changes, not for any particular reason (the changes, the mistakes are due to aforementioned crapness) but simply because that's how it turned out. Um anyway...
